This is a hand-drawn print of Coventry Building Society Arena – home of Coventry City Football Club. Or as I always think of it The Ricoh Stadium so that’s the time I have drawn it from.

The Coventry Building Society Arena is a complex in Coventry, England. It includes a 32,609-seater stadium which is home to owners, rugby club Wasps, as well as the Championship football team Coventry City F.C. It also has facilities which include a 6,000 square metre (65,000 square foot) exhibition hall, a hotel and a casino. The site is also home to Arena Park Shopping Centre, containing one of the UK's largest Tesco Extra hypermarkets. It was built on the site of the Foleshill gasworks, and it is named after its sponsor, Coventry Building Society, who entered into a ten-year sponsorship deal in 2021. For the 2012 Summer Olympics, where stadium naming sponsorship was not allowed, the stadium was known as the City of Coventry Stadium.

This beautiful piece of art was originally illustrated over many hours using pencil, fine liner and pro markers. Now it’s available as a high quality print in a variety of sizes, framed or unframed. A lovely alternative to commercially produced football posters and canvas.

The framed option comes strung and ready to hang and come with or without a smooth matte mount (border) to surround your print depending on option you select.

Our frames are made of solid wood and are handmade in the UK. They come in the following options:

Black and white frames: A 20mm wide flat shaped black/white coloured picture frame moulding with 22mm depth. Made from real ayous wood with a paint finish.

Oak frame: A 22mm wide flat shaped natural oak coloured picture frame moulding with 20mm. Made from real oak wood with a barefaced finish.

A4: mounted with a 1 inch mount and framed in a 292mm x 379mm frame with an internal measurement of 260mm x 347mm.

A3: mounted with a 2 inch mount and framed in a 429mm x 552mm frame with an internal measurement of 397mm x 520mm.

A2: mounted with a 2 inch mount and framed in a 552mm x 726mm frame with an internal measurement of 520mm x 694mm.

A4 unmounted frame external dimension size is - 244mm x 331mm

A3 unmounted frame external dimension size is - 331mm x 454mm

A2 unmounted frame external dimension size is - 454mm x 628mm

All of our frames have 2mm acrylic glazing. It is light, safe, optically outstanding, scratch-resistant and will not discolour.
