This is a hand-drawn print of the Kirklees Stadium – home of Huddersfield Town AFC.

Kirklees Stadium, currently known as John Smith’s Stadium due to sponsorship, is a multi-use football stadium which has been the home ground of football club Huddersfield Town and rugby league side Huddersfield giants. Both teams were originally based on Leeds Road, but both moved to their new grounds in 1994.

The stadium was the venue at the Rugby league World Cup in 1995, 2000 and 2013, in addition to the 1999 Rugby World Cup. The grounds are owned by both clubs, as well as Kirklees Council.

This beautiful piece of art was originally illustrated over many hours using pencil, fine liner and pro markers. Now it’s available as a full colour print in a variety of sizes, framed or unframed. A lovely alternative to commercially produced football posters and canvas.

Frame Info:

The framed option comes strung and ready to hang and come with or without a smooth matte mount (border) to surround your print depending on option you select.

Our frames are made of solid wood and are handmade in the UK. They come in the following options:

Black and white frames: A 20mm wide flat shaped black/white coloured picture frame moulding with 22mm depth. Made from real ayous wood with a paint finish.

Oak frame: A 22mm wide flat shaped natural oak coloured picture frame moulding with 20mm. Made from real oak wood with a barefaced finish.

A4: mounted with a 1 inch mount and framed in a 292mm x 379mm frame with an internal measurement of 260mm x 347mm.

A3: mounted with a 2 inch mount and framed in a 429mm x 552mm frame with an internal measurement of 397mm x 520mm.

A2: mounted with a 2 inch mount and framed in a 552mm x 726mm frame with an internal measurement of 520mm x 694mm.

A4 unmounted frame external dimension size is - 244mm x 331mm

A3 unmounted frame external dimension size is - 331mm x 454mm

A2 unmounted frame external dimension size is - 454mm x 628mm

All of our frames have 2mm acrylic glazing. It is light, safe, optically outstanding, scratch-resistant and will not discolour.
